Sail Date: May 2018

This was the first sailing and it did show on the first day , everything was overwhelmed , 55 mins for a coffee at the coffee port and the Market place was little better than a really poor transport cafe .The quality of breakfast was worse tha n a premier inn so we resorted to cabin service breakfast ...BUT the coffee of the whole ship is undrinkable! Except in coffee port , Marella need to understand that most people expect decent coffee as can be bought on any high street in the UK. For this reason alone it's worth paying the premium all Inc at £50 pp per week. This also gets you decent wine Merlot and Sauvignon , premium cocktails and all drinks at the Gin and whisky bar (10 premium gins and 10 whisky Inc fever tree mixers)

The premium restaurants are also a bit mixed , The dining club was superb , we are there twice , surf and turf was ok , not sure it's worth £28.95 pp extra and Kora La does decent curries but the fondant was the worst ive ever tasted. The drinks are plentiful and branded as standard with a great deal, as mentioned , on premium upgrades .

The pool is a bit hemmed in and quite loud , lots of people just drank all day - The Mediterranean and deck at the back were much quieter and more for us.
