Sail Date: May 2018
Cabin: Fantastica Balcony Stateroom

This was our 24th cruise and we have cruised previously on Royal, Carnival, Norwegian and Disney so we have a reasonable basis for comparison. Our cruise party was myself, my wife and our 15 year old son.

We chose this cruise specifically to try out the new ship from a "new" cruise line at a great price.

The ship sails out of Miami but does not leave port until late (7pm) to allow for a large number of European passengers flying in apparently. The boarding times were all suggested to be later than we are used to seeing and since we knew all aboard was much later we decided to save some early morning stress and drive down later than usual.

Cabin Review

Fantastica Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Size of room and balcony were both good/average.

Bathroom was small but functional.

Beds/furnishings/etc were all brand new so comfortable and shiny for now.

Storage was designed for 2 people, 3rd passenger is berthed on the pullout couch but no additional storage was provided.

Port Reviews

Miami

Never a fan of Miami, probably because its the longest drive for us and the drive through Miami is not great. The parking garage is an absolute nightmare as well.
