Prior to the cruise, we spent several days in Tokyo and Kyoto. We found very spacious hotel rooms for three adults at convenient locations. (Hotel the M Innsomnia Akasaka in Tokyo and Vessel Hotel Campana Kyoto Gojo in Kyoto)

Since we had a lot of luggage, we hired MK Taxi to take us to Osanbashi Pier for approximately 17,000 JPY, for a 45 minute trip.

Embarkation was fairly quick and smooth and our room which was midship on deck 8 was adequate but a bit crowded for all of us. Read more
