We had a great time on this cruise!!! we did not explore Puerto Rico when we arrived however we arrived before the cruise ship took off about 3 hours and I was anxious to beat the line to embark. Embarkation was awesome we walked right in to the terminal and then we walked right onto the ship and we were at our room within 15 minutes. This embarkation was not as great, it was slow as we waited in a conference room for an hour to leave, not sure why. The ship was very nice there was lots of entertainment, activities, food the dining was really good at the buffet and the restaurant you had to pay at. I had coupons for specialty dining at Chop's which was a steakhouse very very good food. The best thing about our vacation was all of the excursions that we went on. We had an excursion for every island there were 5 islands on this cruise; we went ATV'ing in Saint Kitts we went to the beach in Antigua which was absolutely breathtaking we did the kattamaran in Barbados that was awesome the best island was Saint Lucia due to the island delights tour that we took. I definitely suggest that tour if you are going on this cruise. 7 days was awesome it was enough time and felt like not enough time by day 8. I definitely suggest getting the beverage package because you will be thirsty all the time and the only place to get a drink is at the buffet once they close you must pay for each drinks separately. I would definitely take this cruise again I was looking forward to it for many years the Southern Caribbean is absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. I did not travel with children but there were lots of families and older couples, only couples on the excursions that we took though. I also did the island rum distillery tour in Saint Marteen that was very fun. Thanks Royal gCaribbean for a great 1st anniversary.
