Pre: We were a group of 12 ladies and flew into Ft. Lauderdale a day early and stayed at the Embassy Suites. Ages ranged from 21-54. We had a ball hanging out in Florida. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the airport and to the port for $9 per person. Embarkation: You now have appointments in which to show up at the port which makes it a bit easier getting on the ship, even though there is still a good amount of people already there and still arriving. On the day we sailed one of the gangways was broken and the one being used was weight restricted, so it took us a little longer getting on, but hey...it's vacation, so it as fine. Ship: This ship is beautiful. Out of our group of 12, 6 had never cruised before. This was my 5th cruise, 3rd on RCCL....having cruised already on Monarch of the Seas (now decomissioned) & Allure of the Seas. I could see some similarities in Harmony and Allure, but this ship has so much that is also different. It's just hard to explain. Never felt crowded. Lots of room for everyone. Cabin: See Review Below: (2) Family Interior Rooms for 6. Excellent choice. Dining:We chose a 3 Night Dining Package and dined at Chops Grille, Jamie's Italian, and Sabor Mexican. Chops was amazing! We were very disappointed in Jamie's....we liked the choices and service at Giovanni's Table on Allure a lot better. We wanted our last choice to be at Izumi's Hibachi Grill, but was told only the Sushi part of Izumi's applied to the Dining Pkg, so we ended up going to Sabor for Mexican food and it was great! Our venues we ate at were: Mini Bites, Johnny Rocket's, Windjammer, Solarium Bistro, Sorrento's Pizza, Dog House and Cafe Promenade....all excellent choices! Drink Pkg: Well worth it. And although it says everyone in the cabin must get it, there is a way around it. We got pkgs for the first 5 of us in our cabin and when the 6th person booked, she chose not to get it and no one said anything. The other 6 on the other cabin participated, so 11 of 12 had the pkg. Pkg also applied to drink service on the private island Labadee. Entertainment: We didn't make it to every show or event, but what we did attend, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is always plenty to do! For the younger crowd, dance parties everynight and lots of parades and themed parties on the promanade and throughout the ship for all ages. Adults only Serenity Pool Areas, hot bubs, waterslides, so much to do! And shopping galore! Service: Service was great! From our cabin steward, to the restaurants to the spas! Everything was awesome! We were not disappointed! Labadee: This is the private island and it has lots to do and plenty of beaches. We chose to take the tram to Columbus Beach and had lunch and drinks and lounged around. Yes, there are vendors who try to get your attention to ask you to buy items, but either you want to buy something, so you go and shop (we bought some very nice items) or either you don't and simply tell them no. Falmouth: We did an excursion through RCCL and went to the Blue Waters Beach Club. It was only 15mins from the port and we had a wonderful time. It was all-inclusive drinks and they served lunch. Music playing, games for family and lots of chairs & umbrellas to relax under. Cozumel: We pre-booked for Mr. Sanchos. When we arrived at the port, we took a taxi and arrived at our destination 15mins later. Lots of fun in the sun with unlimited food & drinks! Mr. Sanchos lived it up its reputation as I heard and read nothing but great reviews about it. Disembarkation: Very organized and fast!

Cabin Review

Cabin 11147
Having previously stayed in a Promenade Cabin with 5 on the Allure, we were in search or more space. This room was perfect for 6 of us and we had another cabin, same category right next door in 11149 that also held 6. We are all adults and had plenty of space for clothing, shoes, accessories, etc., it never felt crowded.
