This cruise was a great value for the money. The food was always good, although I won't say it was ever amazing. The cabin stewards were fantastic. All the entertainers were really talented.
The clients were mostly retired people, although we did see some families. This was definitely not a party ship.
There were not a lot of extra things going on during the cruise, and usually the ones they had overlapped a lot. Most of the entertainment was in the evenings.
We were upgraded to cabin 4008 which was nice. The room had plenty of closet space, a loveseat, coffee table, and desk area with chair. The veranda had two lounge chairs and footstools. It did not have a plexiglass railing, so you could not see over the railing if seated. It was nice to have access to the outside to take pictures or check the weather. The bathroom was plenty big.
It was fun to walk around and do a little hiking.
We did a combination Mendenhall Glacier, Whale Watching, and salmon dinner. It was fabulous.
Glacier Bay was one of the highlights of our trip. We saw Margery Glacier calve which was amazing.
