Choose this cruise for the itinerary. Ship nice. Ocean view cabin good size with plenty of storage. Location on Deck 8 is very noisy until 11:30pm due to clubs located below them. Beds are very hard. Embarkation and Disembarkation were excellent. Food was a average. Specialty restaurants were good. Buffet was below average. Extreme lack of variety of food. They would have the same food each night and just change the name or sauce on it. Crew working at food stations were not very polite. Service at OSheehans was hit and miss as was quality of food. They have eliminated fresh ice cream bar from the buffet. Entertainment throughout the ship was good. Bar service was good. Shore excursions with ship were hit and miss. Some upsettingly canceled at the last minute which left you scrambling for your activities. Experience in same excursion could be greatly varied depending on the tour guide your bus was assigned. Some of the shore excursion staff needs to be trained to be more friendly and patient with elderly and non English speaking passengers. Since NCL no longer allows passengers to carry water on board- the need to have dedicated water stations were passengers can refill their personnel water containers that they have brought from home.
