This was an excellent experience. Transfers from the Raddisson Blu was included. We were met at the ship with wet cloths and drinking water and a staff that was very enthusiastic. Our cabin was clean, bright and had enough storage to keep everything hidden. The shower was roomy with excellent water pressure. The dining and wine experience was everything we had hoped for. Diners were well presented and the wine was from the region of the port. Our Cruise Director, Darren, was very professional and entertaining. Every evening had a different type of experience, including games we played as a group and entertainers that were brought on the ship for a particular evening. The ports were beautiful and the shore excursions were excellent. Being from the United States, it was a pleasure all of the staff could speak English and they were very attentive and friendly. Also, the other passengers on the ship were English speaking, which made it very easy to make friends from people all over the world.
There is really nothing to complain about, and we would use Emerald Waterway again in the future and recommend this cruise line to all of our friends and family.
Cabin Review
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The panorama window was a very special addition, as we could drop the window down to give full view of the outside. There was plenty of storage with space under the bed where the suitcases fit. The closet was roomy and enough hangers for everything as well as shoe space. There were also ample drawers. The bathroom had enough room for two to stand in front of the mirror and the shower was very large. The water pressure was great with enough hot water. They also supplied soap, shampoo and conditioner. We have no complaints about the cabin size or cleanliness.
