I signed up because a friend needed a roommate. I had been disappointed by a former cruise on a much larger ship, so I didn't expect much. Embarkation was smooth and painless. The staff were friendly and helpful. All meals were wonderful, but especially the 4-course dinners in the evening. There was variety and no matter what choice you made, it was delicious for the palate and the eyes, served with panache by the delightful staff. Entertainment in the evening was varied, family-friendly, and fun. Travel usually happened at night, so that each new day brought well-organized shore excursions in new and exciting places. I simply can't say enough good about this cruise and cruise-line and would choose another without hesitation.

This cruise was the tulip cruise and going to Keukenhof was the highlight of the trip for me. We hit it perfectly as the tulips were at their peak and seeing acres and acres of them was a riot of color and spectacular to view. I learned so much about the history, planting and production of tulips.
