Cabin: Panorama Suite with French Balcony

Chosen because I knew my wife would love the flowers, our first Dutch trip exceeded our expectations. Aboard the Avalon Vista in our port side A type cabin, we could not have been more comfortable. The ship staff and cruise director were genuinely friendly and professional. The food was excellent, always fresh and delicious. The weather proved to be unseasonably but pleasantly warm so we were treated twice with outside barbecue on the Sky Deck at lunchtime. The ports were selected well, close to local sightseeing and flavor. You always remember a local guide who can draw you in, leaving you with memories of not only the sights but how lively and true it was presented. We had such a guide on our Sunday walking tour through quaint and lovely Willemstat. We were afforded time there also to try out the bicycles the Vista provided. We highly recommend the Brussels and Bruges excursions.
