We chose this cruise as an alternative to the one we had cancelled in the Carribean due to the flights being cancelled because of the Beast from the East. We got as far as Newark but could not get to San Juan. We were delighted with this cruise as we had not sailed in the Adriatic Sea before and were really happy to have done it. The other plus was we flew direct to Barcelona from Edinburgh and again direct back to Edinburgh from Venice. The 11 night trip was ideal after the problems the previous month. Our cabin was at the back of the ship with a nice large balcony and was ideal as we just wanted to relax. We had the best balcony for the sun and the ship seemed to dock most days with the sun on our balcony. The meals in the dining room were very good but the cafeteria was a bit repetitive and did not give you a boost when you saw it. There is plenty of variation each day but you know what it will be. I must admit the shows in the theatre were excellent

The cabin was nice and had a walk in shower for my wife who has a disability.

The cabin steward was most helpful
