Excellent food in all the restaurants, including the Terrace Cafe, which was buffet style. It was not your typical buffer, however, with sushi, lobster and other stations hosting delicious food. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool deck was plenty big and they put comfortable lounging and seating around the entire ship. This ship is geared towards older adults and as 50 something's we thoroughly enjoyed the on-board events and entertainment. The wine tasting event we attended was great. Although we did not attend a cooking class/demonstration, they were very popular. We also used the Canyon Ranch Spa and got excellent massages and the entire spa was wonderful. We enjoyed the coffee bar as well, each morning and the fitness center was well-appointed. The port destinations were all great. Instructions, organization and procedures for excursions or going ashore on your own were excellent. I would not hesitate for a second to cruise on the Riviera again.
Our Oceania Suite was amazing. It was well-appointed, spacious and clean.
We took an excursion to Taormina and we highly recommend the Taormina On Your Own with time to explore this town on your own. Most of us wanted more time in Taormina.
We walked another old walled city, and it was quaint and nice.
We hired a driver to take us around to Budva and other beautiful places in Montenegro and ended up at a hillside restaurant overlooking the ship and the amazing surroundings.
We got off the ship as early as we could and walked as much of Venice as we could and enjoyed every moment. We had dinner on a restaurant terrace overlooking the Grand Canal - beautiful and the food was great.
