We chose this cruise because of the destination and wanted to try a different cruise line. We heard that Royal was better than Carnival but for us it was not. The food wasn't very good, nor were the activity choices. The staff seemed super tired and many unfriendly. The lady in the Royal shop, and the 2 workers in the Post Restaurant were the worst. Toilet seldom flushed, and the shower was rusty. We left out of Baltimore and cruised to Bermuda. The Grandeur of the Seas seemed to be a very old ship and doesn't offer much of a variety. It is suited for retirees. My granddaughter was 20 months and they didnt have anything for her to do but she had to pay the full price. She was not allowed in the pool and the lifeguards were very rude while letting us know. The babysitting service was very nice, but it's not free.
