Despite being told how much we would like this ship, we didn't feel the same way. Fortunately, we only chose this particular ship because of this itinerary, so the ship wasn't our primary focus. CABIN: We were in A506 on Aloha deck (12). Cabin was very small (much smaller than we've experienced before, but still perfectly adequate and the bed was very comfy. Balcony was small, but fine for the 2 of us. HORIZON COURT (Lido Deck): Buffet was amazing, with every kind of food group. Quality of food was mediocre, however, but there was plenty of it. Seating is rare to non-existent, even during "off" hours. Try to find a seat first, or you may end up carrying your plate around looking for quite awhile. The meals in the main dining room were also mediocre. We opted not to dine in the specialty restaurants based on feedback from fellow travelers that the food wasn't worth it. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. We didn't book any shore excursions through Princess, preferring independent tours. We were very happy about this when we heard how huge the crowds were on the ship's excursions. For instance, the St Petersburg tour had approximately 47 people, while our SPB tour (booked through Viator) had 14. (You do NOT need a visa if you book this tour). We used the Hop On Hop Off buses for most of the ports and a private bike tour for Tallinn. Internet on ship was pretty good, considering, and fairly reasonable. We were happy to have this available. Ship has a small, but cozy library with several games and puzzles available. Even with the PROS, we would be reluctant to cruise on Princess again.

Underwhelmed by this ship. Take this strictly for the ports
