We usually cruise with RCCL, but they weren't going through the Panama Canal when we booked this. For the most part, the employees were very good...in some places, they were excellent, especially on Deck 5 at Cafe al Bacio. We had friends cruising with us, who unfortunately had to leave for medical reasons halfway through the cruise. We were told by 'Guest Services' that we HAD to pack up their cabin & keep their luggage in our cabin, as it couldn't be left unattended. Guest Services had absolutely no regard for my husband or I, when I tried to explain that he had a very bad back & couldn't walk very well. That meant nothing to them, so we had no choice but to take their 2 very large suitcases, along with our 2 very large suitcases, plus our carryons, find them in customs, then to our excursion bus, & to the airlines. It was the first time on Celebrity...& even though they are owned by Royal Caribbean, there is absolutely NO comparison. From now on, we will definitely be staying with RCCL, & if we never got to cruise again, NEVER again on Celebrity!!!
Cabin Attendant Elmer was very good....
