After having a great experience celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary with Royal Caribbean on the Grandeur, we decided to celebrate our 30 yr. anniversary on the Grandeur as well. It was convenient to drive up to Baltimore and board the ship and be on our way to a wonderful pampering experience of fun, delicious food and excellent service. The draw for this cruise was that the destinations were very different from the last one. On this cruise we visited different Caribbean ports from the 20th anniversary celebration cruise which allowed us to see Bermuda and Co Co Cay which we had not seen before. In fact, we wanted to go to Bermuda for our honeymoon, but couldn't afford to. Throughout the whole cruise, we had beautiful weather. There was always something to do on the ship. There were a variety of live entertainment shows to attend. There were dance classes, Zumba exercise sessions, spa treatments you could get and you could even see movies on the top decks on the big screen while enjoying the nice weather. Embarkation on the ship went smoothly after arriving on board about 1 pm. We were able to immediately go to the Windjammer and get food and then proceed to our cabin which was a nice, freshly cleaned ocean view room. The food from start to finish was excellent with such a variety of selections. Disembarkation could have gone smoother since we opted for the last departure time. Seems like we would have had less of a crowd to deal with which would in turn lessened the wait time for leaving the exit lines. I definitely would travel with Royal Caribbean again. the Grandeur is STILL in GREAT CONDITION!! Please TIP the staff APPROPRIATELY for providing such ROYAL SERVICE!! THEY TRULY DESERVE IT!!!!
The cabin was a nice ocean view cabin with a nice size window. very clean and neatly prepared.
