The escape is a massive ship. It has many activities and things to do around the ship so you can never be bored. They’ve got four big water slides. Two of which don’t go very fast but is very enjoyable. The two free fall water slides (aqua loop) is insanely fast, first time riding can be terrifying but then after you try it, you’d crave that feeling again and again. They even have a smaller water park for the young ones so they are not left out. The pool can get very crowded throughout the afternoon, especially if it’s a sunny day. So the best time to swim would be in the morning between 7-10 am. The ropes course is also enjoyable (unless you are afraid of heights), they have got three ziplines but they mainly just open one of them for some reason. It has two planks that stick out on both sides of the ship which is not for the faint hearted. Mini golf course was cool but a few of the obstacles were poorly designed since balls would get stuck inside. They’ve got a basketball court where you can play soccer and basketball. I even remember playing family dodgeball.

I didn’t like the main shows very much, which are called After Midnight and the Brat Pack. I did not like the The Brat Pack because it’s mainly a about a group of teens in high school being sexual. (NOT APPROPRIATE FOR KIDS). The didn’t like the second show ‘After Midnight’ because if you are not a fan of jazz then don’t go. The dance moves are based on the styles of Harlem, New York in the 1900s. But the dancing was very energetic, mostly tap dancing, this show is fine for the kids.

The restaurants are amazing, we loved the food. My favorite is Cagneys steakhouse, they’ve got an amazing surf and turf that gives fillet mignon and grillled shrimp. Teppanyaki(Japanese, a lot like hibachi) is also very good but can be very noisy and annoying. If you go there you might have to share a table with other people if you don’t have many people in your party. A third restaurant we went to was Bayamo (seafood), this I didn’t like very much because you could taste that the food wasn’t fresh and my lobster was a bit dry. The complementary restaurants like Manhattan room is also good but be prepared to wait a while to get your food because the service is extremely slow. Another one of my favorite restaurants is O’ Sheehan’s. This place is gold, perfect place to go for lunch, they’ve got buffalo wings, burgers, huge hot dogs, nachos, and you can sit in front of the atrium to watch whatever show is going on. Lastly, you’ve got the garden cafe which is good, they give a variety of different foods. I just go there for breakfast and the free ice cream and crepes.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

Bermuda is gorgeous, we didn’t do any excursions but we did go to Horseshoe Bay. This beach is beautiful, it’s got pink sand, nice fish, and clear water babay. The town of Hamilton is also very nice.
