Friends arranged cruise as a taster for us. We sailed from L.A to Vancouver. Embarkation simple, obviously very busy but smooth enough. One of female port staff was incredibly unfriendly and snarled at people but that was offset by amazingly nice staff. Such is life. Ship was clean and comfortable. Though a little tired in places. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food amazing. We used sit down restaurants for most meals. Love the hand hygiene police, really appreciated high standard hand sanitation before entering restaurants. . Balcony room clean, very cosy bed.. Lots of storage space. Weather awful, 2 days of force 9 gales put gravol to the test,! Worked like a dream. Didn’t miss one meal or event and slept like a baby. Drinks prices ok, same as any city bar. Most disappointing thing, the entertainment was awful. Apart from a high class comedian, the rest was poor. Daytime activities were dreadful. Most activities were selling something. Everything from skin care to art. So disappointing. Line dancing and card making were the most exciting activities. Not at all what we expected. On the one good evening we had they cancelled the movie under the stars. Longer cruise could be very boring so will stock up with books if there is a next time.

Perfectly comfortable. Quiet. Midship. Clean.
