The attraction of this cruise was the Norwegian Fjords.Embarkation at Southampton was as always well organised.Ghe ship is large and the new decor a bit drab ,brown and cream colour scheme although smart was boring. The ship is always super clean everywhere and the whole staff work tirelessly to keep it that way.

It was half term so there were many children on board and as the weather was exceptionally hot and sunny the two main pool areas were taken over by them and they certainly enjoyed the pools. This meant using them was out for us as where the jacuzzis always full of kids.

Fortunately there is a adults only pool area Serenity area to the rear and this was much quieter

Cabin Review

Cabin Ab

Brown and cream decor.Twin beds no settee area.Tv with English channels ,films etc.Tea and cofee facilitates.Small But adequate bathroom with shower ,good hair and body products.Ony gripe was sheets etc seemed well used and soon looked a bit grey hoped they would change them more often.Cabin steward was friendly and very good at his job.Thank you Joel.

Port Reviews

Stavanger

Ship docks right in the heart of town ,pretty old town lots of shops restaurants and the old houses so immaculately preserved were lovely plus the weather was perfect.

Bergen

We used the blue hop on hop off bus first as this is a larger town for a good look around before heading for the centre concertrated around the old port area which is full of old buildings, market stalls, seafood stalls and restaurants.Be aware that prices in Norway
