Wow what a surprise this was! Booked a great deal on the 10 day sailing out of Tampa..Truly had no expectations whatsoever. This is my 23rd cruise and thought this would be just a cheap getaway. From the beginning I knew this was going to be a "different cruise". I have to say when my friends and I first got on board the ship we noticed that it was a bit of an "older crowd" lots of scooters and elderly people that looked as though they had more energy then me! Embarkation went beautifully..very well organized and smiles everywhere from the staff. The first night at dinner we noticed that RC had arranged for the younger people to be placed together. What an awesome thing to do! Our tablemates ended up spending the entire cruise with us! The ship itself is getting older but the layout, the cleanliness and the BEST Cruise Staff I have ever dealt with made you not even notice. The meals were actually the best I have ever had on ANY ship (this includes Carnival, Princess and Holland America ships)The waiter Weebau was absolutely the perfect server! We had some really picky eaters at our table..and Weebau never blinked an eye. The ports with the exception of St. Kitts were perfect! I myself did not like St. Kitts but only because the exploitation of the squirrel monkeys was just pathetic. People with baby monkeys that were obviously taken from their mothers that would grab you , put the monkey on your shoulder, take a photo and then demand that you pay $10.00. Very Rude..Very Pathetic. Would never go there again as a result of this exploitation. Everything about this cruise was great..activities, drinks, and the Best Comedians on the high seas! Buffet INCREDIBLE! It doesn't matter where she goes we will definitely be back on the Grandeur! Great Old Girl...
