new ship seemed exciting, boarding in Miami good, a bit down hill from there. The ship is large with plenty of open spaces, clean as you would expect. The decor fine, food excellent in the buffet when you can get a seat to enjoy it, a bit hard to find gluten free stuff though. food in main restaurant a bit strange at times ie: half a chicken and very little veg, then huge portions of beef again no veg to speak of, fish strangely on its own a bit of garnish, it seemed all or nothing.
The cabin we had was an inside aft, well we had bunks over our bed so had to crawl around to get out of bed, the back of the bed has a lowdown metal rail feature so no comfy sit-ups in bed. The bathroom was just fine, not so the tiny closet that was so dark and dingy I found clothes I didn't know I had taken still clean when I unpacked. We were on a package that included 2 litres of water a day, well shock horror this was delivered in bulk on day one. If you don't drink it all they advise give it away or to the steward as they throw it away(disgusting waste)
The entertainment was ok Jersey boys ok seen better, the Cavern and the Beetles tribute must have most of them turning in their graves seen better at Butlins. One thing we didn't know as first time NCL cruisers was to book shows within first day or so or miss out, we were not used to this so missed some shows we would have liked, Movies in the cabin were pay to view if you wanted to see anything decent, as was the go carts, laser tag etc.
a bit small no draws for bits and bobs or clothes tiny dark closet, bathroom roomy for a ship
ok very bumpy roads
