We choose to sail Norwegian because we previously had sailed Carnival and wanted to move to something more pricey and hopefully nicer. This was not the case. On Norwegian you reserve your shows, so everyone books all the shows on Day 1 whether they plan to go or not, so we had to wait in the standby line waiting for them not to show up, which usually 25% don’t show up so we would get in but not get good seats for waiting in line early. Much happier with carnivals first come serve the day of. Seats around the pool are held by towels and no one removing them... there was more dinner options but all the restaurants had the same menu we showed up to a restaurant with a 20 minute wait and was told to go to the other restaurant downstairs because the menu was the same and no wait. While being a pricer cruise there was still a lot of things on the boat that was not included which was sad to see! We left late from the port and arrived back home early which lead to taxes being added onto our drink package/everything without our knowledge. As for our cabin our shower wouldn’t drain and we reported it to housekeeping several times, with no help. The front desk was super unhelpful with our concerns or when trying to help plan our birthday celebration (we were suppose to get a free cake at a dinner and didn’t receive our coupon) we also we told by the excursion desk to go to the front desk for complimentary bug spray and when we got there they were out. The bartenders were great, but they did not care about who had the unlimited pakages vs not. People in front of us had 1 card and were getting multiple drinks for whoever that they couldn’t even carry in one trip and we were forced to wait longer when our group was all there.
