Went on the Norwegian Dawn, December of 2009. Beware the parking situation at the Port Of Miami is terrible at best, got to the port at 11am and all garages were almost full. Had to park on the roof of the last available garage. This was my fifth cruise with Norwegian and boy was I disappointed. Freestyle dining takes a lot away from the cruise dinning experience because you get a different waiter everyday, and there isn't the personal service like on a ship where you have the same waiter and busboy every day. Didn't have the special dessert presentations, slow service. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered Sea scallops, they came out the size of a quarter, when head waiter asked how my meal was, I told him those weren't sea scallops but bay scallops, he asked me if I would like more and I told him no, I just wanted what the menu advertised. Was told when booking that you could have lobster everyday, when you get aboard you find out it was a lie, and that you get a half of a small lobster tail, one night and it wasn't prepared well enough to ask for another one. Everything was overpriced, from drinks to bingo, to make up for the cheap cruise price. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!! Didn't see anyone do well at the slot machines. When we started sailing they were handing out drinks like they were complimentary, and when you took one they would try to charge you $8.50. Should change the name of the ship to the Norwegian Scam.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Small room, but not bad. Great shower. Clean nice bed. One of the highlights of an otherwise bad cruise.
