Liked the Round-Trip itinerary. Flew direct round trip from Boston to Amsterdam. Used Delta Comfort Plus air travel for a comfortable ~6-7 hour flight each way.

ITINERARY: We recommend this itinerary for newcomers as the 2 week itinerary provides good overview of the region. We enjoy tendering into ports, but guests with mobility problems should consider accessibility capabilities when tendering to ports.

SHORE EXCURSIONS: RCCL has revamped information access to shore excursions by requiring a cruise be booked before you can find a publicly available & posted link to excursion information. The lovely pdf booklets of excursion options are no longer readily available (or are well-hidden). Pdf style booklets are needed by people with low vision (me) who still want to be able to read about touring options in ports of call. When we got to our stateroom, a multi-color excursion booklet was available. We booked a winter 2019 cruise and received a sheaf of xerox papers rolled together with a rubber band, black ink (pale print-cartridge needed replaced) and print was a size 4-5 font - even a magnifying glass would not help a person with low vision read that size font! RCCL seems to be trying to roll out a more costly excursions alternative (EXC?) but the RCCL online pages about shore excursions are ephemeral so who knows what will be available or have a live link. If you stumble on an excursion information page, be sure to save the URL and maybe you' be able to find it again. Read more
