We frequently visit family in Australia and wanted to combine it with something different, and this cruise fitted in well with our timings. We know Sydney very well and it was nice to board a cruise there.

Embarkation at Circular Quay could have been a tad better organised, at least outside the terminal. When there are 3500 passengers all wanting to get on board the scrum for getting rid of bags was a bit tiresome, although expected.

The ship, despite being overtaken by many others now in the "size race" is pretty large but very manageable. It felt quite fresh and up to date, with only a few weak pints encountered in our 23 day cruise. Our stateroom (7676, easy to remember) was very pleasant, with a good deal of storage space, even for such a long cruise. Our attendant was good and unobtrusive, how we like them to be.

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 1D

As stated above, the Cabin was fine, with plenty of storage space, even for a long cruise. We encountered no problems at all during our cruise.
