This was our 36th cruise and we frequently travel on NCL and have always had a good experience. The ship is beautiful and the staff, throughout the ship were attentive and courteous and the food, was great but we had never seen the cabin layout of our balcony on any other ship and did not care for it at all. It was only after hearing multiple other complaints about it that we realized we were not alone. The shower is on one side of the entry way behind a frosted glass door, the toilet is on the other the other side behind a frosted glass door and the sink is in the cabin!! You dry off after a shower in the entry way! I've never come across this before and hope I do not again. The extra space this takes is then taken away from the cabin - resulting in very limited walking space and a cramped feeling - even in a balcony cabin. I am happy to report that this is the first cabin of this design that we have witnessed on an NCL ship so maybe they have seen the error in their ways and stopped following this design. We always enjoy Cagney's, not quite as happy with the Brazilian restaurant, although the staff were great. We seem to run in to hostesses who tend to be rude and less than helpful in Le Bistro, not only on this cruise but also a recent cruise on the NCL Escape. We did not book any shore excursions on this ship but the purser staff and Cruise Reward staff were helpful and attentive.

Great ship ruined by cabin layout
