WE (I) started working on this trip August 2017, booked September 2017. Cruise Critic was a tremendous amount of help – thanks to everyone for your input! We loved our trip, tenth cruise, and without a doubt, it was the most relaxing, most enjoyable and best cruise ever.
Flew into Seattle day before, stayed at Hampton Inn 28th St, Seatac. Great rooms, great breakfast and superb customer service. When the limo service we “tried” to work with fell through, we contacted Seattle Express at 6:00PM the night before the cruise. Reservation taken, credit card charged, and we were picked up on-time, pleasant ride to Pier91. Driver handled our luggage, on and off shuttle, he was a real professional.
CC Members have consistently stated HAL embarkation was quick and easy. They were right! I saw no frustrated guest faces, everyone was pleasant and helpful. Registration was quick and we only waited in chairs for about 10 minutes, then on to the ship and our cabins were ready by 12:30. We were on Deck 7 Balcony.
The cabin was great, flat screen TV across from bed, bed is bigger than a queen, almost king size. Everything in the cabin was in excellent condition. We were very happy. Three closets, two drawers under the bed, 2 cabinets above the pull-out sofa, and plenty of room under the bed to store 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons. Nice hair dryer in vanity and a magnifying mirror in a little bag in vanity, too.
