We sailed on the Silver Muse in late April/early May on the transatlantic cruise to Ireland and had a fabulous cruise!
We embarked in New York (most people got on in Fort Lauderdale) so embarkation was shockingly easy. Since nobody was getting off in New York, we figured our cabins would be ready and they were. We were on and having lunch by noon!
Our suite was 719, which is a superior veranda suite. It was in excellent condition and very comfortable for our cruise. The bed was comfortable with nightstands on each side, there was plenty of storage in the drawers and the closet. The sofa and chair were great for breakfast in our suite and the table accommodated us well. There is a folding table top that can be used as well. The TVs in the mirror worked fine. The bathroom was smallish with one sink and a separate shower and tub. The shower worked great with a rainfall and handheld shower head that was fine for an overhead shower head. The location was very central to everything. A couple minor quibbles. The safe would not show what number you entered, so you had to hope you got it right when the time came to open it! And the doorbell was a buzzer, not a nice chime.
