This was a second cruise for my family on Carnival and we won't be going on one again anytime soon or ever. They cared more about the money than service and quality. The dining room food was sub par while service lacked any effort. On "formal" night you'd expect great food/service. Not here. prime rib was overcooked, barely warm (we were one of the first to be seated) and the lobster tail was cold. Sad. Overall the only food worth anything was Guy's burgers. Simple burgers and fries. All the rest was par to sub par. The service people were hit and miss when it came to friendliness and attentiveness. Felt forced. room was clean. we saw the steward only couple times. Oh also watch your sign and sail account! I bought a insulated water bottle carrier and later came to find out the salesman or carnival added a tip to the bill! A tip for buying something from them!!! what a crock! Also when we went to get a soda with the bubbles program (expensive) it felt as though we were looked down upon because we weren't purchasing overpriced alcohol. Getting off at ports were unorganized. Only one excursion was worth anything. The rest were overpriced and under delivered. The list goes on and on but needless to say you get the picture that the company was more about the money than quality and service. Buyer beware.
