Chose this ship as part of a college alumni cruise. The entire staff and crew had one goal: our happiness. I watched the captain move heavy ramp equipment up steps along with a crew member, a leader by example. Everyone was thoughtful, anticipating our needs. The food and cabin service was exceptional. Shore excursions were well-planned and contracted guides were knowledgable and clear. Our ships tour guide did a wonderful job preparing us for every trip. The ship was smooth and quiet. The Captain allowed short visits to the control room. There were TV channels that showed the forward looking cameras and our map view progress. Although some excursions were crowded, our guides were able to bypass long lines and always made sure we could find our way back to meeting points. The coach drivers handled large vehicles on small roads or city traffic with ease. When we visited the Normandy cemetery there provided us with flowers. The guides were able to think of alternate means of transportation (the cable car) when our tram was delayed. We only had to walk and learn. The entertainment was tasteful and always enjoyable. Overall a wonderful experience.
