Embarkation took about 40 to 60 minutes. Had trouble initially on how the embarkation process starts. There were no signs on what to do. Bag drops in the middle of the hallway. Line was long but moving. The actual check in process was fast. 5 to 10 minutes.

First time cruise with my wife on Ovation of the Seas May 6 to 11 Hong Kong to Vietnam back to HK. The ship is huge. Its only 2 years old and feels like it. You can feel that the ship is very well maintained as the areas of the ship are very clean including the public toilets. The ambience is very much like a 4 or 5 star hotel. The layout is also good as the promenade is at the center of the ship and the MDRs and dining options are close with each other. Entertainment venues however are in different areas of the ship.

The cabin is quite adequate. Very comfortable bed. Large spaces for storage. Temp was quite cool. Balcony is large. Power outlets are ok. Desk is a little small. Toilet is a little small for me. Read more
