We were sprayed and sanitized from one end of the ship to the other - still, we got sick. We feel the open style dining is a major cause of spreading germs - no matter how much the staff work to prevent it. It is terribly disappointing to take a "cruise of a lifetime" and be sick half of it. We did love the aft cabin with the flow of the water making a wonderful sound for us to sleep by. The configuration of our cabin was not to our liking. The separate toilet area and shower area were enclosed by sliding "glass" doors (normal for showers - but not for a toilet)... and there was just no privacy - we really did not like a sliding glass door for the toilet. The cabin was also crowded - two people had to edge past each other constantly to unpack, dress, change, etc. The lighting in the cabin was generally OK, but terrible for the make-up area and over the sink, which was the smallest sink possibly ever made. Very frustrating. The beds were very comfortable.
The staff everywhere on the ship were wonderful and did everything they could to make us feel served, happy and welcome. The spa offerings were very nice and pleasing (great manicure!!) Still a sick vacation is not a vacation.
Best entertainment was the Beatles band. At the Comedy Club there was a vocal impressionist (very good) but not a comedian. Food was average, nothing outstanding to report from the buffet - but plentiful and readily available. Meats tended to be overdone and often tough. Other dining rooms with menus were good but not outstanding.
