The itinerary was excellent, our concierge and the casino hosts along with out cabin steward were also very excellent. The embarkation process was a joke, very unorganized and almost out of control. The finance department in conjunction with the shore excursion department was very, very disappointing due to a number of situations. We know we weren’t the only guests affected by these mixups and they all took unnecessary efforts over 2-3 days to get them corrected. One employee even told us they haven’t seen anything like this in their six years with the company. We had one excellent server in the casino area, the rest of them were not over the top that we’ve seen with NCL over the years, they lacked the friendliness and almost acted like they didn’t want to be there. We aren’t sure if we will go back on this ship ever as it was just too much hassle compared to all of our previous NCL cruises, we were pretty fed up with the situations by the last day and others told us they were actually making more serious statements. Transfers to Stockholm were supposed to be free yet we had to buy tickets for $49 each and then were asked for proof in writing that we were told they were free. We pre-cruise reserved a show one night, got an email saying the show was changing times and would not be available, yet on the boat it’s on their schedule and has no seating left. These are just two examples of topics we encountered that we shouldn’t have had to deal with.

Great itinerary, mediocre logistics
