This was our first cruise out of Southampton and what a difference. We arrived in the Port car park at 1.20 and we were in our cabin and unpacked by 1.20. The initial impression was of a very eye catching ship and it did not disappoint. The cabin was spacious enough but like most ships a lack of hangers. The balcony was spacious and as we were going to the fjords it was needed as the weather forecast was not great. Well how wrong was the forecast. We had sunshine 9 of the 10 days in the early to mid twenties and not a drop of rain. The evening ding was brilliant and we had some great people on the table. The buffet was a bit chaotic but the food for breakfast and lunch was very good with a lot of choice. The evening entertainment was always good and way above the normal cruise shows. We had the drinks package and without doubt it was amazing value.
The staff throughout the ship were brilliant and very friendly. Our evening table waiters were amazing. The itinerary was fantastic except for Alesund which was underwhelming.
My only criticism was the cabin was not kept clean and the linen not changed enough.
As in my main review but like most ships not enough hangers
