Sail Date: Jan 2010
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Our choice of the Voyager is simple; we live 19 blocks away. This cruise was a reward from working over a year on repairing our home after Ike, mutual Christmas and birthday gift. We did not care where she sailed as long as she sailed! No agenda, no plans, just relax. We arrived at the terminal at 11AM and quickly proceeded to board the ship. Cabins not available until 1pm, so started out in Windjammer for lunch.

Windjammer food is varied and good. I expect nothing more as it is cafeteria style food. However, it is sufficiently good to over fill the plate and finish everything.

Headed to Balcony cabin a little after 1pm, quickly unpacked as luggage arrived quickly. Our cabin steward was wonderful, never really saw him except when leaving cabin, but he always had everything perfect.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

We find the cabin very comfortable, enjoy the privacy on the balcony as we have seen other RCI ships with frosted Plexiglas dividers. Have no complaints about cabin as we feel it is our home away from home. Storage is more than adequate, plenty of hangars and shelving.

Wish you would go with a flat screen TV in the future.
