Initially choose this cruise because of the itinerary which included Bahamas and St Thomas. NCL changed the itinerary to Mexico, Honduras and Belize. A cruise itinerary many had already been on. The reason cited was due to “Hurricane Damage”.

Had a penthouse. Very nice. Recommend with large balcony (11908). Room layout functional and well furnished. Coffee/cappuccino machine not working first day. When I called the butler he told me “Machine not working”. I replied that is why I am calling. The machine was changed in a few hours. The layout of the ship is confusing. I have been on many cruises with NCL and other lines, but never on a ship that was so difficult to navigate. No obvious flow in layout. Ship is for gamblers. Very large casino. Very small theater for 4000 guest. There are not shows every night. In fact, minimal entertainment The “big” dinner show had a charge, even for Haven guest. Very disappointing. The staff (other than Butler) were exceptional, always going out of their way. The Haven restaurant was average. The Haven Area was average. The food was excellent in the specialty restaurants. Be sure and make daily reservations. The buffet was good as well. Overall, would not recommend this ship. Will no longer travel NCL.
