We chose this cruise because it fit a scheduled family visit. We live in Florida but the visitors were from Oregon and had never been or a cruise. The price, length of cruise, itinerary, cruise reviews and dates available were perfect for this trip. My wife and I had not been on Carnival in 10 years and we are currently Platinum with Royal Caribbean. Honestly I felt like we were taking a step down by choosing Carnival but for sure I was WRONG! There is much to like about Carnival and I now see why they are the biggest cruise line out there. there is so much to like about this experience, I hope I can convey it all

1. The ship is huge but not too huge

2. The ship was in amazingly terrific condition for an 18 year old ship

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4F

We had interior rooms on the bottom deck at the rear of the ship. Much to my surprise there was very little motion felt and almost no engine or propeller noise. We had a very quiet hallway and our cabin steward Antonio was nothing short of amazing. For a budget room, I give it 5 stars. Oh yes, the shower was the largest I have ever had on a cruise ship
