Cabin: Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

The ship had plenty to do, the food and drink policy was great, cabins were spacious and the crew was extremely friendly and professional. The ports were amazing. We had 2 Aft cabins which we enjoyed, being able to view the scenery in and out of ports. The weather was a little chilly so we didn't spend much time on the balcony. We did enjoy the free style dining as well as the specialty restaurants. We LOVED the Ocean restaurant as well as the French Bistro. The entertainment- Rock of Ages was fantastic. We have seen 2 prior versions and this one was hilarious. We cruised mid May so the crowd was mostly older people, not many young adults (we had 2 in their 20's with us) .

Everything went smoothly re: on and off ship. Remember to get a tourist visa for Russia or book your shore excursion with NCL. If not, you cannot leave the ship in Russia. We did the 2 day best of St. Petersburg and it was great. If you do your homework ahead of time and study each port, you an do a lot of the excursions on your own. It will save a lot of money.

The only thing that confused us and was a little disappointing was we embarked in Germany, this was considered Day 2 of the cruise, Copenhagen was Day 1. Therefore there was no welcome aboard party or hoopla which can be fun. Our last day on the ship was considered Day 1, by then we were exhausted and missed out on the fun festivities.

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

very nice, just wish the balcony could open to the room for our kids next door. Great room service with 2x daily room maintenance.
