An amazing experience

Having traveled with Viking river cruises and previous ocean cruise, we were looking forward to this one with great expectations. You did not let us down. This was one of the best vacations we had.

The ship was clean and easy to maneuver, our cabin was just enough for two people (but hen, how much time do you spend in your cabin when there is so much more to do on the ship!).

The food was just great. We tried the specialty restaurants (very good!), but there is nothing like getting the food you want when you want it, and go for seconds or thirds in the buffet. The service was outstanding (I don't drink, but my husband made up for that with all the dark beer he loves),

The shore excursions were just fine. Long enough to get acquainted with the port, with the option of going back on your own for more. We took only one optional tour, and it was a great bargain.

And what can I say about the spa? It was the best ever. Can't wait to revisit it again, as we have already booked another cruise for the fall. And after then--probably another!!!
