Sail Date: Jan 2018

We had a free week in January and always enjoy the hospitality and experiences with Viking. We were able to book at the last minute.

Had visited Pompeii last year on a Viking cruise so visited the ancient site of Herculaneum this time. Our guide was excellent.

Being January the weather was a factor. We missed one port completely and Viking rerouted us to an alternate port on another day. There are always things on board to keep everyone occupied.

Cabin Review

Comfortable staterooms are tastefully decorated in the Scandinavian style. They are well supplied with all necessities including binoculars. The beds are very comfortable. The staff/guest ratio is high so guests are well looked after. There are free laundry facilitieson all decks.
