If Pullmantur can save a dime on something, it will end up costing you $1. They will either tender or find the cheapest dock space there is available. Stockholm= tender to port in another town (up to 2.5 hours wait), walk 15 min to train station or pay $5 for shuttle, 1 hr train to town for $20. All the connections really limit your time available. Copenhagen= dock in another country, 15 min walk to train station, $25 for 1/2 hr train to town. Berlin= $30 shuttle to train station, $60 for 2 hour train to town. Most of the shows were in Spanish (known fact). Lifeboat drill is in English (towards the end). Loud PA announcements every hour to alert of pending sales in the: casino, gift shop, spa, internet and bingo. Reception never had change for a 20 to tip with, the casino would not give change unless you were playing their games.

Don't pay more than $40 a night!

Cabin Review

Cabin 6129
NOTE: The first cabin they tried to put me in was next to a supply area and crew elevators with a loud intermittent pump always running.

Clean, spacious and good attendant service. Close to the aft elevators and thus the buffet. NOISE=HORRIBLE Located under the dining room kitchen. Noise of running and rolling carts started before 5am and didn't end till after 1am at least.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Bad Doberan
Because the ship docked in an industrial park, I had to walk 15 min to catch a bus to catch a train to catch another train to ride the Molli steam train in Bad Doberan.
Well worth the effort. Interesting how the train goes right thru downtown on it's way to the coast. Do research to see which towns you want to hop on and hop off along it's route.

  • City Tour
First day tour guide spoke English first and then spanish. At the first stop, he told us when and where the final meeting point would be. Got 4 hours of free time to explore Nevsky Prospekt.
Second day tour guide only spoke spanish. Couldn't tell me when and where to meet so I had to stay with the group all day.

  • Tallinn
The ship cancelled their excursion but I never planned on paying double retail with them in the first place.
Good equipment at a great price. Guided tours or the option to go by yourself.
A Segway is the perfect way to see Tallinn. You can go up every ally way, climb all the hills and glide over the rough cobblestone streets with ease. I covered over 18 miles in 4.5 hours.
