My husband and I are seasoned travelers but have never seriously considered cruising. We wanted to dip a toe in the cruise water without a big commitment so when this deal came our way, it was hard to resist. We really enjoyed it and Holland America Eurodam was a surprisingly delightful experience.
Embarkation was very well organized and went smoothly, even with the huge crowd. I was surprised that our stateroom was ready for us and our bags were already on the bed. Just the begining of four days of outstandingly friendly service from every staff member we encountered. My husband singled out the service as the best part of the trip .
The food was very good overall even in the Lido Market which was so many notches above the cafeteria food I expected. 24hr room service is a huge plus. We even had breakfast in our cabin on disembarkation morning on time and perfectly cooked.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
Larger and more tastefully appointed than expected. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Generous balcony with chairs, ottomans and table. Good sized bath with excellent water pressure. Plenty of storage, including under the bed for our suitcases. Temperature control was very responsive. Quiet.
