I was on this cruise 2 months ago for another short weekend and then we booked this one again with some friends who have never cruised before. Even though I'm used to the larger Freedom-class and Oasis-class ships, we loved everything about this one as it's perfect for a weekend getaway and it was even better as an introductory cruise for first timers. I love Coco Cay and the new additions they have coming over the next several months are going to make it worth revisiting. Nassau is, well, so enough said. We just got off the boat and went to the bars and restaurants at port. My only complaint was the My Time Dining which was a disaster. You have to have a reservation for it if you want to be seated in a in a decent time as we were told it would take an hour which honestly defeats the purpose of doing My Time Dining. This was only my second time doing My Time (we did it on our earlier Enchantment cruise) and it worked pretty good but this time really set me off. We got in the line around 8:00 and it was very long for those with My Time reservations and even longer without and they weren't moving. We eventually got fed up and left after about almost 45mins in line and went to Windjammer. Soon as we got our first plate and sat down we were told that it would be closing at 9 giving us only about 15mins to eat and they had already started taking up the food. I went to guest services to complain and asked to be moved off of My Time and explained the situation only to be told there is nothing they can do and that we should have gone to the dining room no later than 7PM and that we should go to Park Cafe for dinner since it's open until 3AM (which has a few sandwiches, pizza, burgers and hot dogs). I was pretty upset and told my first time cruisers that this is not normal. Since we didn't want to risk it again, we booked Chops the next night and Chefs Table the final night and both were amazing. This could have been a one off, but RCI really needs to fix this program because it's not really My Time Dining if you have to have a reservation every night which at that point, you might as well just sign up for their existing dining times. Also, for Guest Services to pretty much say "tough" was not acceptable either but this was the only time I've had this issue.
