We chose this cruise because we love Princess Cruises and we have sailed on the Crown Princess before. We have also sailed on a 14 day Mediterranean cruise but we wanted to experience new ports and this 21 day cruise afforded us 9 new ports we had never been to. So we jumped at the chance to take it.
We went to 2 new ports in France, Marseille and Touloune, we went to Corsica, we went to 2 new ports in Italy, Livorno and Salerno, we went to Dubrovnik,Croatia which we really wanted to see, and we went to Olympia Greece. Other other three reasons we went on this cruise is because it included the ports of, Barcelona, Spain, Mykonos, and Santerini, Greece.
We also picked this ship because it was going to be coming out of a three week dry dock rehab period to freshen up the ship with new carpeting, bedding, venues, painting, and branding. The ship was sparkling fresh and new.
This cabin was spacious , clean, and perfect in every way. The new luxury bedding was fantastic and it allowed for a great night sleep.
Spent the day touring Portifino
This tour was booked through Princess Cruises and was for Bormes-Les-Mimosas & Hyeres. The tour guide we had was phenomenal and made this excursion. We found a quaint cafe and wine shop to eat at and was well worth the time in the city.
It was a holiday and everything was closed so the tour was not very good. Most restaurants and shops were closed. It was not the Crown Princess’s fault.
