My experience aboard Carnival Cruise Valor is one the I will never forget. It was the absolute, most in-describable, Worst trip of my life time. From the time I Embarked on the cruise ship until the time I disembarked, I experienced the worst service ever. I may have gotten greeted by someone on the ship less than five times. I began counting after we had gone an entire day with only 1 person greeting us with a welcome. We never got a warm welcome, it almost seemed forced when a cruise member spoke. Whenever they spoke it was Not with much enthusiasm.

No one on the cruise had High Energy. Everyone seemed angry, and annoyed. I avoided asking for help from fear of someone responding with an unfriendly and unhelpful tone. Most of the crew members body language read “I am unapproachable!” I booked a balcony cabin, cabin 8397 cruise date May 10 – 14, 2018, and my horrible experience begin the same day. The person who was assigned to keep our cabin tidy, did not display a friendly and helpful attitude. In fact, when I asked a question she looked annoyed as if I was intruding on her time. I felt like she half cleaned the room, so I asked her not to clean and that we would just do it ourselves. I was surprised when the Supervisor came to our room to inquire about our satisfaction. The supervisor was the 1st person who had greeted us after being on the ship an entire day. The Supervisor apologized and assigned someone else to tidy our room. I was pleased with the replacement person. He was nice, and the room was cleaned well each time we left and stayed away for a while.

The next Horrible experienced happened during dinner time. I will admit, we were 20mins late for dinner and when we arrived the person overseeing the dining area, Rolondo seem upset that we were late so without looking at us he snapped for someone to walk us to our table. When we arrived, I assumed we were at the wrong table because it was a table that could accommodate six people, but 4 people were already seated and looked at us like why we are crashing their table. It was three of us, so I thought well maybe this is the wrong table. It was not explained to me that random people would be sharing a table. I would have never agreed to sharing a table. I asked for another table and when I did that, we got a lot of angry glares, the host, Kaitlynn seemed agitated that I had asked for another table. Kaitlynn and Rolonda talked among themselves and not to us, before I knew it we were directed to wait outside in the foyer until they could find a table. Finally, after 15 minutes, someone motioned for us to come back in and we were seated a private table. I wanted to leave but I knew had we not eaten dinner, we would have to wait for the next morning to eat because most of the food stations begin to close at 9pm. There was not a lot of food options after 8pm and I did not like that. I hoped that we would have access to some type of food, other than a few selections of sliced pizza, after 10pm.
