The ship was the main reason as we have been on the Riviera before & the standards were excellent as usual. The itinerary also gave us a cruise visiting a couple of new ports that we haven’t visited, some good some bad, along with ports that are always nice just to wander around.

Our Travel Agent organized our flights & transfers in order to save a little on costs & we were able to embark as soon as we arrived in Monte Carlo with no delays at all.

Our cabins weren’t ready until 2.00 so we went up to the Terrace Café on Deck 12 where the start of the culinary treat began & didn’t stop until we got off in Rome. The food & the Staff throughout the ship were marvelous, always wanting to assist you & always with a smile and a chat.

Cabin A3

The cabin, 9055 was excellent however my only minor complaint would be that in the corridor at this location is the secure door which has a metal threshold which means every time room service goes over the threshold you get a noise from the trolley & its contents. Apart from that the room was impeccable. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom beautiful with all the marble & even a bath which my wife loves.

Port Reviews

Saint-Tropez

Beautiful place to wander around. Check out the back streets whilst wandering. Simply stunning

Marseille

Lady leading the tour was excellent & gave us a lot of interesting information about Avignon. Great place to wander & have a coffee in a cafe.

Palamos

Palamos was a new port to us. Arrived on a Sunday when most things were closed. Used as an infill port & a little disappointing.

Olbia

Beautiful Port to wander around

Positano (Amalfi)

Lovely Port to wander around & pick up holiday gift before enjoying a coffee in a street side cafe. Walk to the end of the main street where you will find a beautiful cafe away from the hustle of the main town.
