I love not having to fly to go on a luxury vacation. The Grand Princess out of SF Pier 27 offers four destinations and Alaska and Hawaii were the two I had not done yet. I booked Hawaii while on board in Alaska. The casino provides excellent gaming options and the cuisine on board is spectacular. My low sodium diet was accommodated each night by the Head Waiter providing next day menus and taking my special order. The desserts on board are creative, attractive and scrumptious. The biking and snorkeling excursions were quite enjoyable too. As a Captain’s Circle Platinum Member I receive 250 free WiFi minutes, discounted upgrades, stateroom credits and one free specialty restaurant dining meal for two persons. The ship provides adequate stairs forward and aft for calorie burning, a promenade on deck 7 and a sports deck on 15. The online Princess Patter is quite easy to use and messenger services to on board guests is free
