I would recommend an Alaska cruise to anyone on the fence. The scenery and wildlife is amazing. Definitely bring warm clothes but have some cooler options for the slow cruising days can be sunny and warm on the ship. We chose this cruise ship because of the pools and hot tubs. We were disappointed with the fact that most of the hot tubs were not open each day and the pools. I was so excited to sit in a hot tub as we looked at the glaciers, apparently that is a highlight for more than just me as the hot tubs were busy. It would have helped if they had more than 2 of the 6 open. The ship is very well taken care of and most of the crew and staff were helpful. It was a little surprising when some of the staff were rude and argued with the passengers. Our cabin was bigger than we expected which was a nice surprise. Our room was fairly clean we did find a card left from the previous passenger with their names, also the phone cord was covered in some sort of food. They had updates over the speakers that were helpful but when you were in your cabin you couldn’t hear them. It would be helpful if they had a tv station in the room with the same updates. Overall we had an amazing time and will definitely be going on another cruise. I will be researching that the pools and hot tubs will be open if that’s why we choose a ship.
