Spacious with nice balcony, and insulated from the noisy areas. Electrical oulet access is a Royal pain. Also, no perks for the Jr. Suite...  just the extra space.

They’re recovering... still lots to go, but the area is bustling.

San Juan

The Flavor Angels were awesome, and the tour was great... good food, nice history, and they’re making the best of it while they recover from the near total annihilation of the hurricane. This was one of my favorite tours on the whole trip.

This was to be a tour of a plantation / botanical garden with rum-tasting, and wrapping up with beach time at a private beach club. The tour was OK, but we didn’t spend much time in the garden..  and the beach component was a disaster of “we don’t know about your reservation” (for the entire group we were with).

Antigua

This was an open bus tour with beach time. It was nice, though be prepared to be repeatedly pounced by wandering vendors the moment you get off the bus and/or while on the beach..   including folks trying to sell you pot (and claiming it’s totally legal).

This was a very nice afternoon...  I’ve been on better snorkeling tours, but this was good value for the money. And if you like to drink (we don’t), then the unlimited rum punch may just be worth the price on its own for you.

we were sold a 3-sitting dining package on the 1st day where the person selling it to us made the reservations for Sabor on 1st formal night and Giovanni’s on the 2nd formal night (we didn’t want to do the main dining room dress-up thing)..our receipt has right on it that the reservation was for the next day, but they just silently switched our reservation without telling us because “it is our policy to not allow dining packages to book Giovanni’s on the 2nd formal night because of a dinner theater thing”..
