Always dreamed of a Viking Cruise, especially to Alsace. When we saw the Christmas market tour we were sold. Embarked from Basel. Beautiful snowy day in Strasbourg. The evening sessions when Rene previewed the upcoming day were informational and interesting. The tour guides were very informative and shared personal stories. We particularly enjoyed the optional tours such as the dinner in Rudeshiem and and the beer and food tour in Cologne. Cologne also had the best Christmas market. When looking back on our cruise, we realized it was the best of any cruise we had taken. Viking’s attention to detail and care to insure we were taken care was unlike any thing we had experienced in our past cruises. In fact, we were so impressed with Viking’s total customer experience that we booked the Romantic Danube cruise as soon as we got back. Can hardly wait for our November cruise.
